There are quite a few sports camps in Tenerife, and especially in recent years, the number of programs and activities has increased significantly. At Tenerife Top Training, we offer different types of activities. We have a training component, with programs ranging from personal training sessions to semi-personalized group sessions, mainly aimed at young people and teenagers. We also organize several sports camps, especially in summer, although some take place at other times of the year.
The most well-known camp is the Summer Campus, which has already held more than 14 editions. It is open to all children aged 6 to 14, without any specific requirements—just an interest in sports and an active lifestyle. This camp usually lasts four weeks, though participants can also join for three weeks, and it runs full-time from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The idea is for children and teenagers to try different sports and stay active; it is not focused on a single discipline. Activities include football, swimming, tennis, padel, volleyball, and basketball. The coaches are experienced, the camp has an international atmosphere, and lunch is included. On Fridays, special activities such as inflatables or kayaking are organized, and the Olympic pool is reserved for these experiences.
After the Summer Campus, we also organize technical training camps. For example, the swimming camp is aimed at young athletes who compete or are part of a club, and certain skill requirements apply. It runs for four hours a day, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and participation is flexible—children can join for a single day, several days, or a full week. Training sessions take place in Olympic pools and in the hydrodynamic flow channel, with constant feedback and personalized reports at the end of the camp to help participants improve their technique.
We also offer a technical football camp for children aged 8 to 16, with four hours of daily training and flexible participation options. During the summer of 2025, a three-week camp was held with great success. The children train on professional fields, use professional equipment, and receive feedback from their coaches, including detailed reports. The ratio is 1 coach for every 10 children to ensure more personalized training. In addition, camp coordinators design the entire program, and pool sessions are included. This camp can also be combined with personal training sessions in the afternoon.
Recently, we launched a football clinic focused on specific positions—for example, defenders or attackers. This format usually takes place over the weekend, with 3 hours on Saturday and 3 hours on Sunday, and can also be combined with personal training sessions. For the summer of 2026, we plan to organize semi-personalized football groups that can be combined with the camps.
Football camps are also held during Christmas and Easter, while the swimming camp and summer campus take place only once a year. All camps have limited spots and aim to maintain optimal ratios for personalized training. For instance, in the football campus, the ratio is 1 coach for every 10 children.
At Tenerife Top Training, we want children and teenagers to enjoy an active lifestyle, learn different sports, receive personalized coaching, and have fun. If you’d like more information or want to find the most suitable camp for your children, we’re always happy to help you choose the best possible option.
